Uttirno (we, us, the platform) is an online exam preparation service. Operated by Biman Bordoloi, Assam, India, sole proprietor. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is handled when you use uttirno.in.

1. Information we collect

Account details: when you create an account we collect your name or nickname and your email address and/or mobile number. That is all we need.
Learning activity: your quiz and mock test attempts, answers, scores and time taken. We use this to show your results, percentile ranks and weak topic analysis.
Payment information: payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card number, UPI PIN or banking credentials. We receive only a confirmation of payment, the amount, and a transaction reference.
Technical basics: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) used for security and performance.

2. What we do with it

Provide the service: run your tests, save your progress, show your ranks.
Send you what you asked for: exam alerts, results, receipts. You can switch off non essential messages at any time.
Improve the platform using aggregated, anonymised statistics, for example the percentage of aspirants who answered a question correctly.

3. What we never do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to anyone.
We do not show third party advertising, so no ad networks track you here.
We do not ask for or store payment credentials.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: one to keep you logged in, plus basic first party analytics to understand which pages are used. No cross site tracking cookies.

5. Third party services

We rely on a small number of processors to run the platform: Razorpay for payments, our cloud hosting provider for serving the website, and the messaging services you opt into for alerts such as Telegram or email. Each receives only the minimum data needed for its function.

6. Data retention and deletion

Your account data and test history are kept while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by writing to us, see contact below. We will delete it within 30 days, except transaction records we are legally required to keep.

7. Children

The platform is intended for users aged 16 and above preparing for government examinations.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and announce it on the site.
